Role Summary

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in defining and translating business
requirements across complex enterprise programs — spanning Product Information
Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Customer Data Platforms (CDP),
integration, and custom application development.
This role demands a deep understanding of business processes, data structures, and digital
ecosystems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and technology teams,
ensuring clarity, precision, and quality in every stage — from discovery and requirement
definition to solution validation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Functional Analysis

  • Lead discovery and requirement-gathering sessions with business and technical
    stakeholders.
  • Analyze and document business processes, data flows, and system interactions across
    PIM, DAM, CDP, and integration ecosystems.
  • Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional
    Specifications, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to translate business needs into scalable,
    technical solutions.
  • Ensure business requirements align with enterprise architecture standards and integration
    strategies.

Platform & Domain Expertise

  • Work closely with solution and technical teams to define and refine use cases for PIM,
    DAM, and CDP implementations.
  • Understand product and customer data models, taxonomy, metadata structures, and
    integration workflows.
  • Partner with development teams to define API specifications, data mappings, and
    integration logic for connected systems (ERP, eCommerce, CRM, etc.).
  • Contribute to solution blueprinting for custom development initiatives, ensuring
    traceability from business goals to technical outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering
    teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and walkthroughs to validate requirements and
    solution approaches.
  • Manage change requests and maintain clarity in scope, timeline, and expectations.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Testing, Validation & Delivery Support

  • Define UAT test cases, coordinate testing efforts, and validate solutions against
    requirements.
  • Support quality assurance teams in ensuring completeness and accuracy of functional
    coverage.
  • Participate in deployment planning and post-implementation reviews.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT consulting, digital transformation,
    or enterprise solution delivery.
  • Strong experience in at least two of the following domains:
    o PIM (e.g., Pimcore, Informatica, Akeneo)
    o DAM (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder)
    o CDP (e.g., Segment, Treasure Data, Salesforce CDP)
  • Solid understanding of integration and data management (APIs, ETL, iPaaS,
    middleware).
  • Experience supporting custom application development and working with engineering
    teams through the full SDLC.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Figma, and Lucidchart for
    documentation and collaboration.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of data modeling, master data governance, and taxonomy design.
  • Exposure to cloud ecosystems (AWS / Azure) and microservices-based architectures.
  • Professional certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile BA) are a plus.
